The teenager calmed slightly but still remained very cautious and apprehensive of the vampire’s every move. She was so weak when he picked her up that she couldn’t fight him off even if she wanted to so she just rested her head against his chest and let her eyes slip closed. The constant motions of him picking her up and putting her down made her whimper in protest but as soon as she was on the bed she was content again, curling up against the wall to get away from him temporarily. She was hungry but she felt like if she ate she’d be sick. “Thank you.” That was all she could manage to say, knowing she had to say something. Madison didn’t really know if she had any faith in any of Axel’s promises even if he was being nice to her.

He gently pulled her away from the wall and handed the bowl of soup to her again. “Please eat it….Your too skinny….And im sorry for that..” HE told her softly as he handed a spoon to her. “I…You can sleep in my bed and not in here if you just have bad memories in here.” The vampire suggested with a small shrug. He just wanted to do right by her seeing as he had down lots of bad to her. “And tomorrow I will take you away from here if you want..”
