Maybe she was sick in the head or he’d just knocked all the sense out of her but Madison knew she was in love with her abuser. “It’s worth it. You’ll get better. You aren’t always this way. You are good more often than not.” It was true for the most part, Axel didn’t have as many of his bad moments as he did his good but when he did have them they were awful to endure. Madison did worry about the baby but for some reason she felt that she could protect it when Axel was having his bad days. She’d protected her twin sister Emma most of the time so she was sure she could do it for her own child. “We’ll both be fine.” She was trying to assure him just as much as she was herself. A soft content sound escaped her lips when his hand was on her stomach and she looked up at him with a smile. “Maybe your love for us will chase him away.” It was nice to think about.

“Maybe it will chase him away…I hope it will…I dont want you and our baby gone because of him…I want to be happy with you and I will try to protect both of you all the time.” Axel promised as he kissed her stomach again and smiled up at her. “We should get you eating more now though. Cause you are eating for two and this one needs as much food and she or he can get.” Axel smiled again and gently pulled her onto his lap, kissing her cheek softly and nuzzling her as he held her with one hand while hte other rested on her stomach.
