Sabrina wasn’t convinced at all by his cryptic answer but didn’t ask any other questions, she had a feeling she would know everything later but when ?

“I hope you’re right…” She sighed taking a few more bites of food before looking back at Axel. “Why are you so nice to me ? I know I can be quite a handful…”

“You werent a handful last night and so far this morning you have been pleasant so I am happy to be nice to you.” Axel told her with a grin as patted her leg lightly. “Just try to feel better and when you feel well enough to leave you may do so.” Axel let her know staying on the bed till she finished all of her meal.

She pouted as he laughed. “Are you mocking me ? That’s not nice mister… well I guess they are other ways… it doesn’t have to be ours by blood.”

“How am I mocking you? You want to adopt a child?” He asked with a smirk as he watched her.

He smiled and laughed as she spoke. “Thats the point…We have to look and feel alive, but nothing  but dead swimmers come out of me.”

Sabrina smirked as he blushed before tilting her head and playing with a stray of her hair. “Now that I think about it… seems you’re right.”

Axel laughed and smirked at her, watching her as he sat on the bed. “Of course I am right.” He grinned.

Nodding lightly, Sabrina took the knife and fork and started to eat, she was really hungry and the food was delicious. “Nothing’s ever been easy for me.” 

She took a few more mouthfull before looking at her host. “How did you help me ? You don’t look like a doctor…”

He sat at the edge of the bed and watched her eat while he thought about her question for a moment. “Im not a doctor but I was able to help you so that you didnt die.” He said smiling. “Things might get easier now. Just rest up for now though.” 

Axel flushed red at her words and simple smiled before looking at her. “Wouldnt both our clothes look better on your floor?”

“Axel…” She whispered, nice name. “You found me ? I am… better… I guess… I thought… I was dying…” As she was back into bed, she nodded slowly at the mention of food, she was really hungry but also feeling strange not quite like herself. “Yes… that would be… nice.”

“You were dying, I helped you and kinda brought you back from the brink of death.” Axel explained as he came in with a plate full of food, he had made her, eggs, bacon, hash browns, fired tomato. mushrooms and a glass of OJ. “You are better, just need to take it a little easy for now.” He said with a smile as he handed her a knife and fork.
