Sabrina was surprised when the man came to help her, her mind was telling her he was the voice but she couldn’t be sure. “Who… who are you ?” She let him walk her back to the room, really confused. Did she know him and didn’t remember ? Where was she ? The mention of breakfast made her smile and nod lightly even she didn’t seem to remember him, he must or he wouldn’t make her food… right ?

“I’m Axel, I found you….You werent in the best of conditions..Are you feeling better?” He asked her as he helped her back into bed. Though as she nodded at the question of breakfast he smiled. “You eat eggs, and meat?” Axel asked as he placed teh blanket over her lap and started to move out of the room to finish her breakfast as he had already started to cook it while she slept.

When Sabrina came back to herself, the first thing she felt was desorientation. Was the ground moving or was it her ? Feeling around herself, she realised she was on something soft… not in the alleyway anymore and… she wasn’t dead ? Sitting slowly, she tried to remember what happened… she was pretty sure that she was dying… and then the voice, the so soft voice and the delicate liquid. Standing on shaky legs, she went in search of someone, maybe the owner of the voice to try to understand.

Axel heard her get up and he quickly moved from the kitchen and to where she was. “Hey…you need to go back to bed.” He said softly as he moved a little closer to her and reached out to steady her.  “You need more rest.” Axel whispered as he bent down slightly and picked her up and walked back to the room he had put her in. “I’ll have breakfast for you in a moment, please just stay in bed.”

Sabrina’s body was getting weaker every second, the blond couldn’t even open her eyes when she felt someone coming near her in the dark alley. Couldn’t they let her die in peace ? 

Her so tired mind told her then that maybe it was finally Death coming for her as she registered the so soft words. She felt something pressed to her mouth and her survival instinct kicked it in making her latch on that bittersweet liquid, the taste was amazing, a rush she never had experienced. If dying was like that, she understand nobody ever came back.

As she gripped his wrist and latch on, he could feel her drinking more and more of his blood, he slowly pulled his wrist away when he knew that she had, had enough to heal her wounds and perhaps make her sleepy enough. 

“Sh…its okay, you will live.” He whispered as he gently picked her up and carried her out of the alleyway, he couldnt leave her on the street just incase his blood didnt heal her and she died, then came back as a vampire and went on a feeding frenzy. It would be his fault if she did.

The night was cold and a pouring rain was falling on the town as a lone figure supported herself on an half broken wall, the dark and sad street was the best place to hide and probably die. Pressing her hand on the bullet wound on her stomach, Sabrina Moran groaned in pain and self-disgust. 

When had she become so careless ? She was one of the best assassins in the market, how had she fallen so low ? Not seeing her mark had a bodyguard and a sniper ? It was probably better this way… an inattentive assassin is a dead assassin, she had always laugh at this, she shouldn’t have.

Sliding along the wall as her legs couldn’t support her weight anymore, she closed her eyes, a lone tear sliding along her cheek.

Axel had been out just enjoying the night air, it was a cold night and the rain pouring down was one of his favorite things to be walking around in. Well that was until he smelt blood, his eyes turned black before he closed them and shook his head. 

He could tell it was a lot of blood which meant someone was dying, he took a deep breath before opening his eyes slowly and headed in the direction the smell of blood was coming from. 

Axel looked down the alleyway and felt his fangs come out straight away, all his vampire nature was kicking in and basically commanding him to just end her life, but he couldnt he had made a promise to himself that he would never take another life and he aimed to keep that promise. He took back control of himself and bent down next to her lightly putting his hand on her wound. “It will be okay.” He whispered as he bit into his wrist and held it to her mouth, his blood would heal her.
