Brent wasn’t sure when he’d fallen asleep, but he woke up in Axel’s apartment rather hazily. Strangely enough, he was in the bed, but the other male was nowhere in sight until he reached the living room. Did he sleep all night in that couch? That was rather hospitable, and he figured since it was 1pm, he might as well wake him up. Shaking his shoulder, he spoke, “hey, wake up.”

Axel yawned and rolled over as he looked at Brent. “Morning.” He said softly as he pulled the blanket over his chest more, feeling a little cold. “I hope the bed was comfy enough for you.” He said stretching and yawning once more as he slowly woke up.

“No need to thank me, I want us to hang out somehow.” He had to constantly tell himself that it was not awkward, that this crazy energy he felt around the other and the dreams he kept on happening were just him going through stress. After all, vampires were not real, and the dreams were probably him watching too many horror movies back in Halloween. He took out his phone and went to the address book, then held it out to the other to fill his contact information in. “What days are you free?”

“I would like that too.” He said with a smile as he looked down at Brent, his heart skipping a beat as he looked into the others eyes and he swallowed nervously. “I am free most days, I do not do much.” He smirked as he saw the phone, pulling his own out to get the others contact details so he could message him when to meet up and hang out as the other had said.

“Hey, I remember you from the grocery store. So, I was thinking of the conversation and how awkward it seemed, and I might sound crazy but you feel kind of familiar to me too. Knowing that, do you, I don’t know, wanna grab lunch together?”

Axel was stunned as looked at Brent, he was sure that he wasn’t going to see the man again and it had been hard for him to accept that. And yet here he was asking is he wanted to grabbed lunch together. “Oh..Uh..Yes…That would be nice, thank you….I had thought that I may have scared you off…” He said with a small smile.
