Nita laughed and sat beside the rather drunk man, “So why are you outside sobbing about not having enough booze.” She cracked open a can for herself, watching as the other man drank from the can she’d given him.
Before snickering, “You could have just gone across the street, there’s a bar there.” Nita pointed out with a smile, taking a long pull from the can.
“Because my fair skinned lady I did not have any booze as you put it till you came upon my in my disheveled state. And this one can you have given me will not be enough to quench my great thirst. As for the tavern over yonder I did not see it through the beer filled haze.” He told her as he finished his can and looked at her like a hurt puppy wanting more attention.
