“Alright, if you don’t want to talk about it, we don’t have to,” he reassured while keeping a careful eye on Axel as he drank the water. Brent wanted to understand what had him upset, and what made him shatter the glass and behave unlike his normal calm self. It was so he can prevent something like this if it were to happen in the future.
He crawled on the bed and sat across from him, reaching over to rub the other’s chest to sooth him. Brent did not know if he really did care about anything more than this man. There was a connection he felt that ran deep, so when Axel felt the pain so did he to the point that he felt choked up himself. “Axel? I love you, you know everything is going to be fine, okay? Whatever is bothering you now one day won’t bother you anymore.”
He nodded and gave him a small smiled as he finished the water and put the glass aside his hands still shaking slightly. “I…Brent, its not that easy for it to just go away…I know you love me…and I know you want to help but those things in that room are from before I met you…” Well at least this time around he thought to himself, he knew there was a painting of him and Brent from before in there as well as the one he had shattered which was of his family he had between the time he lost Brent and when he found him again.
“I love you too…” He kissed his cheek and sighed softly. “I’m sorry if I scared you…I didnt mean to…I sometimes feel more than I would like to..”
