Kenyon was fed up with being sad. He’d talked to Rebel, who explained things better to him, and he decided he wasn’t going to wait around for Axel to show up. He never meant anything to the jerk besides a paycheck.
So that was how he ended up in a cafe, sipping tea while he waited to have his turn at the mic.
The vampire had a habit of frequenting cafes that had an open mic or a band playing it helped him take his mind of everything that went through it on a daily basis and today was one of those days, he had found it was nestled away in a quiet section of town.
