Her confusion deepened as she watched him. Now that he mentioned it, the smell she thought was just the boat was actually the multiple creatures on board, which slightly overwhelmed her.

“A-a vampire?” Her eye turned black as she slightly hid from him. “B-before anything else… a-are you or any of the others against the… mixing of your kind and another? B-because if you are…”

“I’m not, but I cant say for my whole crew, I mean they probable aren’t against it.” He said as he sat down and got her to look at him as her eyes went black. “Look at me. You have nothing to be afraid of here, we will all look after you and just expect the same from you.” Axel explained to Rayne with a smile.

“In any case, my name is Axel….and you are?” He asked her softly as he offered her a drink of water.

Ray looked up to the other as he came back, swallowing hard before smiling back. She looked over the food before back to him, wondering if that would be good enough to keep her other side at bay.

“I-I’m…the same really… maybe a little better… I can’t tell.” She confessed before looking terrified. “Y-you did?” Though he didn’t seem too bothered by her not being human, she was now very fearful. “Y-you… you don’t… you don’t think I’m some kind of monster… do you?”

“No, no at all. To be honest this boat is full of ‘monsters’.” Axel told her with a  grin as he pulled a chair over and sat next to her. “I am a vampire, some of the crew are wolves, vamps, I think one is a merman….but I can remember, the doctor is dragon in human form.” He told her with a smirk.

“I am being serious, we are a crew of supernatural creatures.” Axel said a little more seriously.

She tried to stutter a few more words before she fell back unconscious, her entire body seeming to shut down before starting again, before stilling.

This process continued for some time before she finally calmed and her breathing resumed normally. Her fingers clutched into the bed when she woke back up, her eyes looking over the doctor once more before around the cabin.

“So it wasn’t a dream…” She mumbled.

Axel came back in once the doctor finished up, he had a bowl of hot soup and a piece of bread for her. He sat on the edge of her bed and smiled giving the doctor a small nod as he gathered his things and left the cabin.

“How do you feel? That looked like a very bad fall, even for someone with wings…Dont be alarmed that I saw, I was the only one that did and now the doctor.” Axel told her with a smile.

wingsandcoffins:

If the pain hadn’t been so strong, she would have snapped away from him, but only leaned into the warm fingers; she was Ice cold instead.
“I…I don’t remember…” She mumbled as her eyes fluttering, trying to focus on what had happened the night prior.

When the doctor came in, she jumped once again and a few stray feathers seemed to burst out of no where and flutter to the ground.
“Don’t leave me for too long…” She mumbled, only looking over the doc.

‘Its okay, maybe you will remember later.” Axel whispered to her as he tried to calm her down a little so the doc could take care of her, he turned and looked at the feathers, paying them no mind as he left the room.

He waited for about an hour for the doc to be finished before coming back in and checking on her.

wingsandcoffins:

Her eyes looked up to him, mixing between blue and red to give off a frightened purple. “W-where am I?” She whimpered, lightly struggling against his touch before giving in and laying back down. “O-okay…”

She scanned over him for a moment before closing her eyes. “What… happened? Where am I?”

He looked at her but didnt react to her eyes changing colour, he put his hand on her head lightly to see if she was feverish. “You are on my ship, you came crashing down through it last night…I was worried you wouldnt wake up.” He gave her a small smile as the doctor came in to check her over and tend to the wounds she had.

“Sh…get some rest and I will tell you when you wake up, okay?” Axel told her softly.

wingsandcoffins:

She whimpered softly when she was picked up, though she was still out and would be for nearly two hours before she started coming around.

Her fingers gripped at the bedding and the blanket before she tried moving, only to manage rolling to her stomach as a groan escaped her. The parts of her body that were visible from her tight, torn black pants and top being ruffled by her moving and the fall, were bruised, but other wise unharmed.

Ray tried to move again, forcing herself to sit up as a few tears of pain escaped her eyes. “F-fuck…

He moved back intot he cabin as she started to wake, he gently forced her to lay back down on the bed. “Stay down and rest…I will have the ships doctor look at you soon.” He told her with a small smile as he covered her with the blanket again.

“Once the doctor looks over you I will bring you some food, okay?” He asked s he sat ont he edge of the bed and moved some hair way from her face.

wingsandcoffins:

A final thud sounded as the small creature hit the wooden floors where she crash landed. She could feel debris fall on top of her from the carnage she caused higher up, barely being missed by large wooden pillars, or were they… masts?”

“A-Aidez-moi

!” She called, barely having the strength to pull herself up, her wings retreating back into her back. “Pomoshch’?” She looked around, though her vision was fading rapidly. “H-help?” The final sentence leaving her before she was out cold.

Axel had been woken by the crashing of something falling through parts of his ship, he quickly pulled on his breaches and tied them up before moving to the where the destruction was, he raised an eyebrow as he saw the person who was now past out, he looked up at where she had fallen through shocked that she was still alive after the fall.

He gently picked her up and moved her into one of the spare bunks checking over for wounds before putting a blanket over her.
