Alaska sighed and held him closer, her hands gripping his forearms as if letting go would cause her to fade from the world. She rocked into him, her eyes fluttering shut, a soft moan escaping her.

Axel smiled and moved his nipping to her neck and collar bone as she started to move, his hips moving slowly against hers as she gripped his forearms. The vampire pressed his lips against her neck before sucking on the skin and leaving a mark.

Alaska sunk lower into the water, a layer of bubbles keeping her covered. “I’m fine,” she said, her voice crackling. She pulled her knees to her chest and closed her eyes. “Just wanted a bath.” She stared at the door, unsure of whether or not he’d come in. 

“Oh….o-o-kay..” He answered before going back over to his bed and crawling under the blankets, he felt that maybe he had done something wrong by the sound of her voice but he knew that she probably wouldn’t tell him. Axel sighed and tossed for a while before getting out of bed and making his way to a room in the house that no one else was allowed in.

Alaska took a walk along the path she and Axel had made, stopping to collect a few of the wildflowers that grew around the cabin. When she got home, she slipped inside and placed the flowers in a vase.

Axel sighed as he heard her leave, he moved into the twins bedroom and sat down watching them sleep, not hearing Alaska as she came back into the house.

Alaska stepped beyond Axel’s touch, feeling her stomach churn. “I’m not going to leave my family, Axel,” she said, bothered by the insinuation that she would. “I’ll be back in an hour.”

As she moved away from him he felt something squeeze around his heart, he felt like he was losing her and he didnt know what to do. As she told him she wouldn’t leave her family he gave her a small nod and looked way from her. “Okay…” He muttered before getting up and moving out of hte room.

Alaska stared down at her heart and frowned. She’d been under the belief that she would be one of the few never to find her match; she didn’t even want to. “Look. Let’s pretend this never happened, okay? I don’t believe in soulmates.”

Axel was surprised that his heart had started to glow as he had walked upto the woman. “I…Uh….okay…” He mumbled as he stepped away from her not sure how to proceed with this, she was his soulmate yet she didnt want to be.

Alaska had to force herself to take in slow breaths of hair. “I always want you,” she whispered, swaying against Axel’s hold on her. She lifted her head to look back at him, then pecked a kiss against his chin. She wrapped her legs around his waist and nipped at his bottom lip. 

Axel smiled and pressed his lips against hers, he lifted her again as she wrapped her legs around him tightly. Axel eased her slowly down onto his member, a low moan leaving him as he entered her. He nipped at her lower lip before looking at her and grinning.

Alaska went still against him, her mouth immediately going dry. She didn’t want his love; she didn’t even want to be in this bed with him. Alaska waited until he relaxed again, then slipped out of his arms and ran a bath for herself. 

He hadnt realised that it as Alaska in his bed till he felt her get up and move off the bed and into the bathroom,he had still thought that it was his late wife.  Axel sat up and rubbed his eyes before looking over a the time, surprised to see that it was still early morning hours. He got off the bed and moved over to the bathroom door knocking on it lightly. “Alaska? Are you okay?”
