“Those stories are based off truth,” she told him. She shot him a glare, frustrated that he thought it wise to laugh at her arts. Freya tossed in toadstool and pig’s tail, then a single white feather from spotted owl. The potion blasted a puff of smoke into the air, marking the completion of her potion. Freya eyed him through the smoke. “Do you wish to fulfill another use?” she asked, wondering why he’d stayed.

“No, I am just curious, its not every day I get to watch a witch make something to curse another person.” He grinned and picked up a few of the items laying around. “Tell me, who are you cursing? Anyone I might know?” Axel was very curious about a lot of things and this was currently at the top.

Freya smirked and rolled her eyes, amused that he would expect her to listen. She listened to no man and wasn’t about to start, especially not for a bloodsucker. “My potions would burn through any other mineral,” she explained.

“Still it is a bit cliche, you k now every story has witches using cauldrons and here you are using one..” The vampire laughed as he sat down to watch her make this potion that she needed him for, he wanted to know what it would be used for.

“I’ve taken all I need,” she told him. “I won’t be requiring your aid a second time.” She moved towards her potions equipment, hovering her fingertips above a small cauldron pot before the droplets could fall. “It is the binding element for my potion.”

“Good because I doubt that I will give it to you a second time, and if there is a next time, wait till I say its okay not just take it.” HE frowned as the wounds healed up fine as he knew they would, he looked over at the cauldron and laughed. “I didnt realise you actually used Cauldrons.” Axel smirked at her.

“I ran out of luck long ago.” She lashed forward, her nails piercing his chest. Before he had a chance to say a single word, her nails scratched over his heart. The physical damage would heal, even if the emotional pain never could. She pulled away, satisfied, and walked towards a bowl, then dipped her fingers into the tepid waters. “Your job is done.”

He hissed and went to grab her arm as he felt her nails pierce his skin, though he stayed still as he felt them scratch over his heart, he knew better than to move when someone was that close to it. “Don’t ever do that again..” HE panted as he looked down sighing as the small wounds started to heal. “What do you need with my blood?”

Freya rolled her eyes. She didn’t need some lowly vamp explaining the classifications of undead to her. Freya knew what her spell needed; he was merely convenient at this point. “I could speak the same warning to you,” she told him. Freya knocked her head back, a soft laugh escaping her rouge lips. “I do not take orders. Surely not from a blood sucker.”

“Im not giving you orders, I am telling you not to push your luck. I am not above draining you of your blood.” He told her as he looked at her when she laughed. “Tell me what you want me to do.” HE said sternly as he frowned.

“I shouldn’t need to remind you that you’re dead,” she said, shaking her head. Truly, was the world completely filled with imbeciles now? “As a vampire, your heart doesn’t beat properly. Not without a fresh feed, at the least. And I need no one’s permission,” she said, fire in her eyes.

“I am not really dead…Nor am I alive. I am the undead.” He reminded her as he frowned at her. As he listened to her he sighed and huffed before folding his arms over his chest. “Do not push your luck with me witch.” HE warned before sighing again. “Tell me your plan.”

“Oh no. The spell is clear, lucky for you. I still need it beating, even if just barely.” She smirked and pulled her hand from his grasp, fire in her eyes. “If I didn’t require you alive, you wouldn’t be.”

He frowned at her as she smirked and pulled her hand from his. “I would only let you kill me if I was mortal.” He told her his eyes narrowed as he looked at her. “And what will you do witch, to make my heart barely beating?”

thestoriesincoffeestainsx:

“My spell requires very specific ingredients,” she told him. Freya reached over and pressed her palm against his chest. “I need the broken heart of a vampire who loved…barely beating.”

“You want my heart? “ Axel asked looking down at her hand on his chest. “Are you to mean you want to take my heart from my chest?” He frowned at the notion and grabbed her hand. “I maybe be broken but I still want to live for now.”

“Yes, it would seem I’m in need of a vampire. I have to wonder though, if you are capable. Many have said you’re unfocused, since your…dear tragedy.”

“I wouldn’t place any hold into what others say….What do you need?” He asked smiling at her. “I have many skills which one do you need?” She had captured his curiosity now.
