I can only ever hear him saying this as a challenge, in a sarcastic way. Like, he’s just asking for a take-down and trying to push buttons in order to get it.
Even though Axel is a real dick to Terran he actually loves him and would hurt anyone who even dared to touch even a hair on Terran’s head.
Headcanon 2!:
Every time Terran gets a glimpse of what he is actually feeling Axel does want to let his walls down and let him in but he doesnt want Terran to think of him as more of a monster.
Headcanon 3!:
Axel sees Terran as a little kitten that needs to be protected even from himself.
Axel turned around as soon as he felt Terran’s hand trace the cross scar that he had on his back he grabbed his hand panting in fear and a bit of pain before letting him go. “Sorry….I…Sorry.”
Terran winced at the pressure, keeping his hand still until Axel released his grip. The vampire’s reaction – the emotions and the pain behind it – had been startling enough. Shaking his head, he stammered, “N-no… it’s… ‘m sorry. Shouldn’t have done that.”
Axel was shaking as he looked at Terran, his back twitching from where he had touched, bringing back bad memories of times since past. He back away from Terran not sure if he wouldnt lash out at him. “I’m…sorry..Ter…I…Uh…” HE was at a lose for words as he looked down, knowing that that boy had felt the pain and emotions that were associated with the scar.
