@sophiaoffrance:

“Okay Mr. Tough guy. I get it, but you don’t know what kind of mutts these are. At least let me come with you.” Sophia suggested. It would certainly calm her nerves to be with him, but she knew the man would be strongly against it. “I can handle myself around a pack.” She reminded him, remember the multiple times she had to fend off whatever creatures tried attacking her at night. “I just don’t want to see you hurt.” She whispered walking over to him and placing her hand on top of his own.

“They are werewolves, mutts. There is not much difference between the dogs. They are just wild animals that need to be controlled and they will learn that they cant come here.” He told her with a sigh as she spoke about coming with him again. “No you stay here, I just need to take out the alpha and then they will go away.” Axel said as she placed her hand on his. “Trust me.”

@sophiaoffrance:

She gave him a pointed look as she turned around. “I really don’t want you to go there alone, Axel. At least bring someone along in case things go south.” In most cases things did go south. “I just don’t want this to attract too much unwanted attention.” She knew that if another pack like this came up, the police would start to catch onto the things going on around this part of town.

“Who else am I meant to go out there with? Do you see any other vampires in this town? No I am the only one and I have been keeping this place safe since before you were born, so I am the only one that can handle this.” He sighed as he looked at her knowing she was jsut worried about him and what might happen to him should he be out numbered or if the cops caught onto what was happening. “I wil try to talk to them first, and if they attack I will defend myself from the mutts.”

@sophiaoffrance:

“Yes, but trying and doing are two different thing.” She reminded him with a pointed look as she dug through the fridge before pulling out some bacon and eggs. “Most of the time when you try to do something without fighting, someone usually ends up in the hospital or dead.” She huffed. She hated the thought of the man doing it alone. They couldn’t trust these newcomers. They didn’t even know the intention of the new pack.

“Hey now thats not my fault. They have a habit of attacking first ask questions later where as I try to ask questions first then had to defend myself.” Axel pointed out as she got more food out of the fridge. “Plus in teh hospital is better than dead so if I just hurt them a little thats better then them being in the morgue.” He sighed as he took a can of coke out of the fridge. “Ill jsut go and tell them that I am in charge here and that I wont be pushed around.”

@sophiaoffrance:

When he mentioned going out later tonight, she couldn’t help but frown slightly. “You’re not going alone… are you?” She asked a little wary about these new comers in town. One thing she was certain about was that they weren’t peaceful. She sat on the counter watching as he looked through the food she brought home. “I’m about to cook, what are you in the mood for?” She asked taking the garlic out from the bag putting it in a jar so it would irk the man.

“I’ll be fine, I can handle my self.” He smiled as she sat up on the counter, his nose wrinkled as she pulled out the garlic and he moved away slightly before she put it in a jar. “Anything that doesnt have much or any of the garlic you brought.” He told her as he he finished putting the rest of the food away. “I will try and deal with these new wolves without fighting them if that eases your mind.” Axel said with a smile.

@sophiaoffrance:

Sophia was out enjoying the sun on her walk back from the market as she mad her way back to the house. “Axel, are you awake? I heard some chatter in the market today.” she called out once she entered the house, locking the door behind her.  She headed into the kitchen starting to unpack the fruits and vegetables she bought today. She closed the blinds in the house, not wanting it to be too bright if the man came up. The first task on her mind was what to make for lunch, but also the rumors that there was a new pack of wolves in the forest reeking havoc.

@the-solitary-monster

He yawned and walked out of his room, rubbing his eyes and waiting in the doorway till the blinds were closed, a frown crossing his face as she talked about a new pack of wolves, he had only just gotten rid of teh last lot that had come through the town. “I’ll look around in the woods tonight and maybe in some of the abandoned buildings, they like to hang out in those…Adn biker bars.” He sighed as he went to look at the food she had brought home with her.
