“…Maybe…” He mumbled as he wasn’t sure now if Brent wasnt embarrassed about him. After all he could have told them that he wasnt his roommate long ago.
Axel jumped and just about threw Hailey off of him when she jumped on his back. “Jesus christ!” HE exclaimed as he looked at her over his shoulder. “DOnt you know sneaking up on people can kill them?”
I have no idea but apparently me not liking birds is some how a sin. -shurgs- I really dont understand their logic. And The anon’s are from people that I no longer talk to. XD No need to fight them, they are just petty.
He looked down at the keys in his hand and then back to her. “I will permit this, but this is the only time.” Axel told her as he moved away from the door, holding the keys out. “And your brother has a lot of surprises for you.” He mumbled.
Hailey frowned a little at the way he spoke. It leaned a little towards formal. Brent did that sometimes– maybe that’s why they were friends. “Okay..” She nodded slowly, accepting the keys from him. She knew Brent had a lot of surprises for her. The thing was: He was probably never going to share them unless she chased after them herself. Which meant….why was this guy a surprise? “Hold up. What’s your name?”
He wasn’t sure how he felt about Brent’s sister at the moment she had just come barging in and she was a little to forward for him, after all he hadn’t long woken and is was still day time meaning the vampire was a little more moody. “Axel.” he told her as he went to get a cup of tea
“DId he give you his keys?” Axel asked her as she started to walk out he followed but stayed away from the light shinning in through the open door. “Or did you take them from him?” The vampire was annoyed at all of this, things he didn’t know about Brent and the things Brent had not told others.
“I took them. He probably thinks he lost them, so…can I have them back? I’ll put them somewhere sneaky, like behind the couch.” Hailey didn’t extend her hand; she knew the answer was probably a no. “By the way, I’m really sorry I bothered you. I didn’t think Brent lived with anyone. He’s not a roommate kinda guy.”
He looked down at the keys in his hand and then back to her. “I will permit this, but this is the only time.” Axel told her as he moved away from the door, holding the keys out. “And your brother has a lot of surprises for you.” He mumbled.
Hailey was stubborn jumpy and sort of impulsive. She a lot of stupid things but stupid wasn’t one of them. It was obvious she has made Brent’s friend uncomfortable– which made sense, considering she broke into his house. “Ah, cool. Look, you seeeeeemm…liiiiike this isn’t the best timing for you, so I’ll stop by later and maybe we could have apple juice. Sound good?” She was already leaving, though: She clearly wasn’t waiting for an answer.
“DId he give you his keys?” Axel asked her as she started to walk out he followed but stayed away from the light shinning in through the open door. “Or did you take them from him?” The vampire was annoyed at all of this, things he didn’t know about Brent and the things Brent had not told others.
“I’m Brent’s sister.” Hailey was unflinching even as he snatched the keys from her. “You’re his roommate, right? So, who cooks? I used to cook for Brent so it’s probably you.”
He frowned as she said she was Brent’s sister, he hadn’t mentioned it to him in fact he had not mentioned his family at all. “I cook.” He snapped as she called him Brent’s roommate, clearly his lover had not told his family about him.
