“Then we will get married.” He whispered as he put his arms around Brent’s waist and smiled. “Will you be my husband Brent, together forever and always?” Axel asked him.

How long have they been together? More than a few years, and after that Brent lost count. Even so, he knew that there was a connection between them, and ever since Axel told him about how he looked like someone that he loved centuries before, someone who could have been his past life, Brent was sure that something like fate could exist. He was meant to be Axel’s, only his, and perhaps this time they could get exactly what they wanted. Although he knew he was not an immortal like the other was, he believed they deserved this happiness. He of all people knew the worth of life, and what people were willing to give up to make it a fulfilling one.

“Of course,” he replied after a while, almost looking as though he had gone in shock from the way he was gaping at the other. It wasn’t long before he was grinning, looking down a few times from being overwhelmed with emotion before looking up at his love again. “Of course, yes, yes I will. I can’t believe you proposed.”
