Axel grinned at Alexis, his eyes black instead of the dark green they normally were. “Well….well….Little wolf.” The vampire chuckled as he looked down at her, his fangs out as he continued to grin.

“Wow, look who’s here… I guess the bad sides never die huh?” She replied with a bored smile, trying to mask her apprehension for what was happening.”No massacres this time?” She asked. “No body pieces all around the house to point out your presence?” 

“Oh sounds like you missed me little wolf.” Axel grinned as he finished his drink of blood as he continued to look down at her. “Massacres will come later I have to fill up first, you boyfriend doesnt drink enough blood.”

“Yeah right….eveyone betrays me in the end.” 

With tears running down her cheeks and her heart beating like crazy in her chest, Alexis looked down at him and sighed. She kneeled before him, taking his hands in hers and kissing them, before she pressed a gentle kiss on his forehead. “Stop it. I want you to stop tormenting yourself for something you haven’t done to me. I love you. I want to stay with you, can’t you understand that? Please Axel.. Don’t push me away…” She begged. “Don’t..” 

“Thins that I haven’t done?! Do you not have scars from me from when I have not been myself?!” He screamed as he looked at her. “You dont understand…I love you but there is a part of me that wants you dead and wants to leave you bloody and broken at my feet! And I cant do anything about it, yet you view it as just tormenting myself…..You do not know the pain and anguish I have caused!” HE told her, tears rolling down his cheeks as he stared into her eyes.

“Oh and what should I do? Should I hug you? Should I thank you? You’re killing me like that Axel!” She didn’t care about the drops of blood that were falling off of the wounds he was doing to her. She grasped his shirt and pulled him closer. “You would not? Why should I trust you if you don’t trust me?” She asked in a hiss. “Come on. Give him to me. Do you think I’m afraid of what you really are?” She showed her neck to him where the scars of his bites were still visible. “I would already left if I’d do. Come on.. Test me…” She pushed him once more. “Give me the worst of yourself…” 

He shoved her away from him as she pushed him once more. “Lex do not push me…” He warned as he looked at the scars on her neck, he hated that he had done that to her, he hated everything he had done to her and even now he was still hurting her. “Im not good for you……I just hurt you…” He whispered as he sat down and put his head in his hands.

“How can I show you? Tell me and I will..” She anwered, looking in his eyes, a little bit of fear in her heart for what he might ask her to do to prove her love. “You don’t scare me. What scares me is what you’re doing with the man I love!” She screamed back and stepped forward before… his eyes. Alexis freezed. Was that a trick? Was that his way to catch her in error? “A-Axel?” Carefully, she grew closer, her hands, shaking slightly, went to cup his face, looking in those eyes. “Axel…” The redhead, who kept her emotions hidden inside of her for the entire night, let her tears free.. and they soon started to run down her cheeks, as she jumped in his arms and hugged him with love. “Axel.. Oh thank God Axel… I thought I’d never see you again.. I was so afraid…” She cried as she hid her face on his chest. “It’s alright though now.. Let’s.. let’s go home.. let’s go away from this place ok? Let’s just go back home please…” 

He hugged her tightly and cried into her shoulder, he loved her so much and he hated that he had hurt her and those other people tonight, it was going to haunt him seeing the looks on their faces before he killed them and the fact that he was covered in their blood, he sobbed and nodded, all he wanted was a hot shower to wash this all away and to sleep with her next to him.

“Yeah right….eveyone betrays me in the end.” 

“How can you not trust me that much? How can you??” Alexis was furious. She didn’t know what to do or what to reply, she just could feel the rage burning under her skin. And when she saw his eyes changing, Alexis couldn’t take it anymore. She wildly pushed him away, her eyes becoming red, as she cornered him against the wall. “Who tells me you’re not the one who’s gonna leave? The words you just said are… awful…” Alexis gave him another slap, as she growled toward him. “At this point, why don’t you just change into him again and kill me?” She asked. “It would feel just the same.” 

He growled as he was slapped again and he grabbed her hand this time gripping it tightly, his nails digging into her skin. “Do Not corner me.” HE hissed as he pushed her away. “I wont leave! BUt I have been around long enough to know that others just leave me! I am easier forgotten or replaced!” He yelled at her as he slapped her this time, sick of being slapped himself. “I Would not kill you..” He sighed and put his head in his hands. HE was sure she was going to leave after everything that had been happening lately and the fact he couldnt control his darker side.

“A-ha…. you did not understand… I am making a deal with you. Do you really think I would be able to control you like a dog? You’re far too much powerful…” Alexis was trying to play the last cards she had and she was putting all of herself to convince him. “I know he did wrong. That’s what you don’t get. I don’t care about his past. I don’t care about his victims or about how many people he killed… I love him and… for a rational consequence… I love you as well..” She murmured, blushing. 

“But you won’t kill me, otherwise I’d already be dead.” She finished his sentence for him with a sweet smile on her face and she leaned toward him, caressing his hair. “You two are the two face of the same person, light and darkness.. And when you love someone, truly love someone, you love his darkness too. Cause just loving the light it’s impossible, it would be shallow…” Gently she wiped off his mouth the blood that was drooling down. “I’m offering you.. A deal…” She whispered, nibbling his lower lip for a moment before she took a step back. “You can take it, knowing you’ll be free or you can kill me and live in fear knowing he’ll come back someday… And seeing what you did here… He’ll never want to live again…” 

He frowned as she said she loved him, he didn’t believe her and he wasn’t sure he should trust any of her words. “Show me you love both of us, dont make a deal. Prove that you love us both equally and that you accept me as well.” He told her as he stood up and loomed over her. 

“You are lucky you are not dead but you are too much fun to torment, to break and make cry.” He chuckled as he nipped her fingers as she wiped the blood off of his chin, when she stepped back he grinned and moved towwards her. “I know I still scare you little fox, oh he will hate himself for this I doubt you will see him for awhile.” He laughed before Axel’s eyes went back to their normal green and the softer side of him returned once more. “Alexis….?” He whimpered as he looked down at the blood on his hands.

Alexis couldn’t take it anymore, her hand moved without her even wanting that. She slapped him, hard, leaving the signs of her fingers on his cheek. “How dare you say that about me, Axel? HOW DARE?” She shouted, tears rolling down her cheeks, her lower lips shaking. “I love you. How can you not recognize it? How can you not see it? I will never… EVER… betray you or leave you…” 

His eyes changed to black as she slapped him and his fangs extended. “OH HOw dare I?! After everyone else has done it already I would not be surprised if you did it as well!” He yelled as he looked at her, his chest rising and falling fast as he had to stop himself from hitting her back. “I’ve heard those words before wolf…..and the person left me…..they left me a shell of who I used to be.”
