Izzy was hardly moving, breathing slow when he came out, yelling at her. Her body had forced her to shift back, leaving her laying there, naked. All she could do was sigh softly. Her body was beginning to go numb from her midbaclk and down. “I don’t care anymore. Go ahead and finish what they started. The hunters left already and I’m the only supernatural that lives in the forest. I got hurt chasing off someone that’d been watching your home. The reason you’ve been living in peace is because I chase off anyone who intends to harm those living in the forest.”

He frowned and kept the crossbow aimed at her. “No you havent been keeping it safe, they are here because of you.” He told her as no one had been in the forest when he had moved there and he had been living there before he had been changed back to a human. “Heal and then leave.” Axel told her as he went back inside.

That night found Izzy laying under a tree near the house. She’d been shot while a full wolf that walked on all four by a hunter. She didn’t know why she’d gone to the human, knowing he wouldn’t hesitate to kill her. She couldn’t help the small noise of pain.

Axel heard a noise and a howl that night before he came out and found her leaning against the tree, he had his crossbow again and aimed it at her. “I told you not to come back! I dont care if you are hurt!!” He yelled at her, her being here was dangerous for him as it meant there were hunters in the woods plus other things that would kill him.

Izzy couldn’t help the sadness in her eyes. “I don’t harm humans. I swear I don’t.” She slowly began to back away. She was terrified to give him her back. It was unknown on if it was noticed, but, she was limping some. Minor wounds didn’t heal fast for her, for weird reasons.

As they both backed away from each other he kept his crossbow aimed at her till he had reached his porch once more once there he put his weapon down and sat back in his chair picking his glass of whiskey up and sipping from it as he watched her disappear from his sight.

“I live in the forest. I’m just trying to secure a little food for a few days if possible.” She was underfed and it was easy to tell. “I’m a Were.” He had no weapons. This made her thankful.

Axel didnt trust her more now when she said she was a were, he frowned and pointed the crossbow at her face. “Get off my land now.” He hissed as he started to back up not wanting to be near a hungry were.

Izzy looked up with fear in her eyes. She’d tracked an animal onto the property without notice. The sick doe had managed to scamper off when the human distracted her and it pissed her off. The small blonde hadn’t eaten in a few says. “Hunting,” was all she explained.

He kept the crossbow pointed at her as he watched the doe scamper off, he looked back at her and frowned. “You are in a very dangerous position right now. Tell me what you are.” He demanded as he moved over to her to look for weapons.
