under-an-english-moon:

Arthur walked into the store, his favourite suit jacket hung over his arm as he walked it, it had recently gotten a tear in one of the seams and he was not able to fix it himself. “Uh…Hello?” He said as he took off his top hat and placed it under his arm.

Felicity had been sitting behind the counter, mostly tapping her finger against the pen trying to draw out a new design when the sound of the bell above the door came. Looking up she was faced with an image of a man dressed rather curiously, above all the hat caught her eye seeing as not many people walked around like that anymore. Getting to her feet her thumb brushed across her lower lip a little nervous as he didn’t appear like her usual clientele. Taking a gentle breath her fingers then moved to flatten over her jeans as if she felt under dressed. “Hello, what can I do you for…um..no wait. I meant how can I help you today?” Blushing fiercely now a smile shining across her lips to try and counteract her wording mishap.

“I uh….I need some help. You see my jacket got a tear in it. I do not have the skills with which to fix it myself and a friend mentioned that this would be the best place to get it done. I do hope you can help me, it would be a shame to lose this jacket.” Arthur explained as he gently handed the jacket over to her, pointing out where on the sleeve it had ripped. He made sure that his suit or hands didn’t touch her counter.

Maggie’s heart had just been broken into a million little pieces and she knew that the last thing she should be doing is trusting another man to take her out. This one was just so kind to her and the little blonde wanted to have some faith in humanity and that good people existed in so she pushed her insecurities away and agreed to go out with him. “You can stay. There isn’t much to see really.” She took a cloth and placed it over her crystal ball and then reached behind her to turn off the lamp on the table. She slipped her feet back into the pair of high heels under the table; they always hurt her feet. “I’m done now.”

Alexei smiled as he waited for her to lock up, he looked around the tent and shook his head, he didnt believe in what she was peddling but it didnt stop from going in once he realised that it was a rather attractive fortune teller and not the old ladies he was used to back home. “You sure?” He asked as he gently took her hand and steped out of the tent with her. “Now you mine for the night?” Alexei asked, he wanted to make sure that she had no other plans and that she would just be with him for the night, well….it would be longer than one night if he managed to get her back to his house.
