Axel groaned as he heard her voice, he slowly looked up at her. He was tired just so tired that he barely had any fight in him left. They had done all sorts of tests on him over the last how ever long he had been in here, he didnt even know how long that was.

The vampire tried to get to his feet using the chains around his wrists to pull himself up. His feet were a bloody mess as were his wrists, the chains that were around them were burning him and he cried out in pain before falling to his knees again. “Sorry…..” He whimpered to her as he looked up at Jade.

Jade nodded, kissing him softly before he left the room. Jade took a deep breath, turning to the body. Biting her tongue, a method of fighting the growing hunger, the hybrid cautiously approached the weak woman. Despite Axel’s instructions, Jade did not heal her. Her gaze was glued to the bloody wound. Her hands twitched, body trembling as she stood over the woman. Her fangs had not retracted, mouth watered, and her eyes had turned black again. Had she still had a heartbeat, it would be pounding hard. Jade licked her lips, a soft hissing sigh escaped her as she opened her mouth. She was losing the battle, her head dipping, tongue laving the woman’s neck. Her fangs were inches from her skin, the need to taste the woman’s blood growing too much to bear. ‘’My Lady?’’ Jade’s head snapped up, dark eyes capturing the sight of Divorah standing before her. There was a terrified look on the crow familiar’s face. ‘’Divorah…’’ The hybrid closed her eyes and took deeps to calm herself down. When she opened them again, the bright blue shade had returned. Divorah settled herself, seeing that her master was back to normal(ish). Jade stood after Divorah asked for her orders. ‘’Take her back to the woods, the same spot where her boyfriend is,’’ she said. The human-shaped crow tilted her head, curiously staring at her master. ‘’What shall I do with them?’’ she asked, but never spoke the words. ‘’What do you best.’’ A dark smirk shadowed the familiar’s face. Throwing the woman over her shoulder with little effort, Divorah turned to the open window she came through. ‘’Oh and,’’ Jade interrupted, causing her minion to look back at her, ‘’make it believable.’’ The smirk grew on the other. ‘’Always, My Lady.’’ With that, the familiar took off with what would be her next meal. Jade sighed heavily, fingers running through her raven hair. It was then she realized that her face was still stained with the woman’s blood, courtesy of kissing Axel. She needed to bathe herself before attempting to clean up this mess.

He went in to guest bedroom and moved into the bathroom first, he turned the shower on and made sure that it was hot. Once it was hot enough he stepped into it and sighed as he felt the water hitting his skin, burning away what he had just done to an innocent girl. He couldn’t believe that he had almost killed her. And for what? So that he could live a little bit longer. The vampire sighed and gripped the chains that were still around his wrists and pulled on them ignoring the fact that they were still burning him. He kept pulling on them til he felt them break and fall to the shower floor, he gave himself a moment to do the same to the ones around his ankles before throwing them out of the shower. He could hear her talking to what he believed was on of her familiars and as he heard her say to make it look believable he knew what they were planning and he was upset that she had not decided to heal the girl like he had told her too. No he was really to blame for the girls death. Axel sat on the floor of the shower for a while longer before climbing out and drying off, he moved over tot he bed once he was dry and climbed into it, falling asleep almost instantly as his head hit the pillow.
