The various neon colors of the city lights reflected off the car’s windshield, and Brent was rejuvenated by the sight of it. He loved anything that glittered or glowed, and with a backdrop such as the night, everything that shone looked more remarkable. Or maybe it was his uplifted mood and how Axel made him feel. Either way, he opened the window slightly and let the breeze flow in his hair, which he let grow long just to change it up some. He fond out he enjoyed having Axel run his fingers through them.
It was as if the night was the perfect time for Axel. He noticed how the other seemed more… comfortable. More awake and delighted. It was a contrast to how much Brent liked the sun, again for how bright it shone. But they were always different and he embraced the dissimilarities.
Before they knew it, they were heading to the restaurant he had booked and they were escorted to their table. Brent took a glance around and noticed it was not too packed, and thus it was fairly quiet. A classical track played and it set a rather comfortable atmosphere. “So what would you like to order as a drink? A bloody mary?” He teased.
Axel looked around at the restaurant, smiling once he saw it wasn’t that packed, the less people for him the better, it meant he could keep the bloodlust under control. Something he did want to expose Brent to jsut yet, as they sat down he sighed happily and looked across the table at him, Brent was still perfect even now, the vampire adored him and he reached over running his hand through the long locks of his lovers hair. He laughed and smiled at him. “Not too fond of them, jsut a whiskey on the rocks…Vodka for you?” He asked.
He felt at ease with the music and the right company, he was glad that Brent had done this for them, they both needed a night out.
