“They got you all covered in moss? They’re so weird, I’m sure you weren’t gone for more than a day or so. Hey, it could have been worse- you wanna rinse it off? I can use the hose and sprinkle some water on you if you want.”
He couldn’t help but keep staring at Axel, wondering if that’s all the fairies did to him. He looked so… different. It was very disconcerting.
Axel smirked and looked at Brent, wondering what was going through his head right now. “Not sure a hose would really work….this is fairie magic…so who knows what it iactually is and how to get it off.” The vampire sighed as he walked over to him before reaching up and feeling his ears. “God damn it….They made my ears pointy too.”
“I had to do it.” He licked his lips, eyes trained on the other as he tried to take in the sight of his lover. Axel was alive again, where he had lost hope and was doing his best. For days not a wink of sleep had graced his eyes. A hand caressed Axel’s face gently, as though he feared hurting him.
“I used necromancy, I just can’t imagine losing you. I’m so sorry, I’m sorry I couldn’t protect you.” At least his sire wouldn’t bother him anymore, thinking Axel’s dead.
The vampire just lay there as he listened to Brent, this had been more painful on his body than when he had been changed from human to vampire. He knew that Brent had to do it, that he couldnt just let him be gone for good. He slowly sat up and smiled at him. “You brought me back from the dead, thats better than protecting me.” Axel pointed out as he took Brents hand and kissed it softly.
“Hey at least I know that I dont turn to pile ash when I die now.” He chuckled. “Thats what everyone though would happen when you die.”
