I’m gonna try to make this clear because for some reason this still happens a lot in 2018. ROLEPLAYING IS NOT A JOB! It’s something that still doesn’t get through to a lot of people and I constantly see people complain about it. THIS IS A HOBBY!
People have school, jobs, families, friends, etc. They don’t always have time to sit there and write. It seems like you guys think writing replies takes two minutes at a time and it’s done just like that. You may be able to be consistent but for people who have mental disorders and/or are juggling things CAN’T. Sometimes it’ll take me an HOUR to reply to ONE thread.
And I’ve seen people try to use ‘you have favorites card and don’t care about me anymore’ card A LOT. YES I HAVE FAVORITES. Sometimes my muse comes naturally to me like that and I can think clear enough to write those threads. And most of the time those favorites are friends I’ve been writing with for a while and we talk a lot ooc. But guess what I can go days without writing with them too. That doesn’t mean I don’t want to write with you, it’s just takes more effort for me to write.
Complaining, making passive aggressive comments, will not make anyone reply any faster. If anything that makes them, well at least me not want to write with you again until you say your sorry. And instead of doing those things how about asking the ‘slow’ replier if everything is okay? You know not be so selfish and pushy?
