Christmas Comes Early

“True,” Anita chuckled and wiggled in her seat, her hands rubbing lightly on her thighs, skipping over the sparked space of where his hand touched. “But not everyone has the convenience of a master chef in their kitchen.” Pressing her face to the cold glass, the animator kept her eyes ahead on the road, occasionally looking in the rear-view mirror and cursed herself for feeling so… fragile.

“Ah ah-” She tsked at him, “Remember the rule.” Laughing lightly, Anita imaging the picturesque moment. “Well, that’s pretty Disney of you,” she smiled, “Do you whistle too?” Unfortunately, Anita had to halt her energetic wandering thoughts as they began to slide to a more, risque imagining of the sweet ancient vampire cooking with only an apron covering his… delicacies. She opened the window a bit more and adjusted in her seat again while attempting to wipe the thought from her mind.

“You could become a masterchef. I could teach you.” Axel told her as he slowed down just in case an animal decided to jump out in front of the car. “And I am not a masterchef, I have just learnt everything I know from masterchefs through my many years on this earth.” He laughed as his eyes flicked up to the rear-view mirror, he was glad that at least for now no one seemed to be following them.

He laughed as she tisked him. “I did not say a name nor did I even say if the person was male or female.” He pointed out with a smirk. “Disney…..That is the movies that have the princesses in them, yes?” He was actually a little embarrassed now, not wanting to tell her that he had never seen a Disney movie in his life. “I can whistle. But not at eagles as they dont whistle so they look at you confused.”
