Anita shook her head slowly, “Kitchens and I don’t really mix. I could burn water even if I was trying.” She laughed again, “I only really know how to make coffee, and maybe a bagel if I feel so inclined.” Shrugging at the thought, the animator was finally able to get the initial image out of her mind with the sullen hope, as failed as it would be, that she would not catch even the glimpse of an apron when they strolled into his home. Else that image would be forever lodged into her wandering head.
“Oh but it was close,” it was her turn to point it out. “Oh, right,” Anita nodded, “Disney would be considered as ‘new’ to you, right?” It wasn’t necessarily a jab at his age, but she did smirk at him, glancing over briefly to soften the blow where she could. “Aren’t eagles daytime creatures?” She frowned suddenly.
He held back a laugh as she talked about burning water, he doubted that, he had never seen someone burn water and he had been around plenty of cooks and chefs. “I could teach you to make bagels from scratch.” He teased as he looked at her. “Though I think you really need someone to just show you the way around a kitchen so you do not burn the house down.” The vampire teased.
“It was close but I tiptoed the line and did not crossed it.” Axel said as they turned the corner and they arrived at his house, it was a cabin in the woods but unlike some cabins it was not small it was large and looked more like a families holiday home ratehr than a vampires day time resting place. “And yes Disney is new to me, I have heard of it and I was there when the first cartoons came out but I have not watched any….I do not do much with technology.” He explained as he smiled at her jab at his age. “Can you even tell how old I am Anita?” He asked before realising that he may have said a little too much about his powers and what he could do when she asked about Eagles being daytime creatures. “Uh..yes they are.” Was all he said as he turned the car off.
