At this point it was ridiculous to comment on how long the day was. Everyday for the animator and executioner was a long day, everyday was spent in constant agony for the next moment, dragging herself to each piercing migraine of a moment. There were times when the young woman wondered if it were possible to just quit and go live a quiet life up in the mountains… then again, in a way, she enjoyed the thrill of it. And it wasn’t like Edward would leave her be up there, Katherine would be pissed at her, and she wouldn’t hear the last of it from Jean-Claude, calling her insubordinate.

Nevertheless, it all seemed to stop right in front of her door. Once she closed that door it was like she was gone to the world, not a care and she could just enjoy her one bedroom apartment with its plain walls and consistency. Yet, today would not be that day.

“Mr. Alrikson?” She questioned, her right hand holding the hidden Browning behind the door that she chose not to open fully. Not many people knew where she lived and coming at this time of night was not usual. She felt her pulse quicken in her throat, the look in his eyes making her unsure to look in them, choosing to keep her gaze leveled with right below them.

 “What’s going on?”

He didnt blame her for not meeting his gaze tonight, though even if she had of he would not have tried to roll her. “You can put the gun down, while I am angry it is not aimed at you Anita.” HE told her as he heart her heartbeat quicken, he knew that the way he looked right now probably scared her. He pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed. “I promise you have nothing to fear with me. Would you accompany me on a walk to help me calm down?” Axel asked her, he wasnt going to ask to be allowed into her house as he was sure she wouldnt allow that.

“Lets just say that Jean-Claude is lucky to be alive tonight. Your master is making things very difficult.” He disliked calling him her master but that was what he was and he knew that she probably had not sway over anything that the vampire did.
