Anita shoved her hands into the deep expanse of her jacket pocket after locking the door, her eyes darting around the complex for any odd signs of conflict before following him down the stairs. She wasn’t sure why he would come to her house, even if it was to discuss Jean-Claude, her supposed ‘master.’ There was another odd thought that came to her wandering mind about the whole situation, of whether or not this could be considered as defying the ‘master’ vampire by coming to his human-to-call for reasons no one could know. Was it so that she in turn could keep him in check?
However, if what Axel said was true…
“Are you serious?” Anita stopped in her tracks, all the images of her torturous journey through the void that was Nikoloas came tumbling back to her and her heart skipped a beat. She was at a loss of words, both anger and fear rising in her chest that she shook her head and continued to walk, although with a stronger force than before as if she was heading to talk to the asshole himself.
“Yes I am serious, I saw it with my own eyes while I was there.” He told her before grabbing her arm as she started to walk a head of him. “We are not going back there because if we do I may kill the man.” He warned as he held her arm. He wanted to talk this out with her and hope that she would talk sense into the other when she saw him next.
Axel slowed his own heart rate down and he let go of her arm. “I do not wish to destroy the master of this city as I do not wish to be the new master. Though it would mean you would be free from the marks.” He sighed and tilted his head up for a moment before looking at her.
“What are your suggestions on dealing with Jean-Claude?” He asked as he found a bench to sit on.
