Hailey knew he’d start about how she wasn’t allowed back here. The entire idea to come to him relied on her ability to get her to listen before trying to kick her out. Maybe she would have been better off seeing on of her professors about this since they were all experts on the topic, but– they wouldn’t have believed her. They thought – everyone thought vampires were extinct.

Axel did begin to shoo her away, but he froze up suddenly, and she worried. Because of what – who knows? – but her stomach sank and her gut told her to leave. She didn’t listen to it. “Look, I know I’m not supposed to come back, but– if you own this place, then you must know a lot about vampires, and I– Someone bit me. Just now. He grew fangs and bit me.” Only when she said it aloud did she realise how crazy her story actually was. It probably didn’t even happen the way she thought it had.

He could hear her heart and his heart, beating so fast. He took a deep breath and shook his head as he tried to calm down and ignore the blood that was on her neck.  Axel did his best to listen to her voice and what she was saying, he turned and looked at her as she said they had grown fangs and his bit her.

That couldnt be right, he was the last vampire in this region, no one else had dared to set foot here because of him and yet she had been bitten by some thing. “…..Could…have been a human….Fake fangs.” He mumbled a little more to himself then her right now, he moved away from the door and headed up to one of his rooms, he needed to look into this now. Her wound would heal after all it looked like the vampire didnt get a good bite one her.
