“You look older than me now….I’m not sure I’m okay with that.”
“It happens, when I age and you don’t,” he answered, trying to play it up and make himself sound humorous but there was a dull ache in his heart when he said it. He reached over and placed his hand on the other’s arm and gave a reassuring squeeze. “It’s still me, Axel. Same ol’ Brent no matter how much I age.”
He sighed and looked at Brent, he knew the other was right and he hated it. He always stayed the same and Brent changed, he aged. Axel knew of one way to stop him aging but that was for Brent to choose and he hadnt asked yet. “I know its still you….Just looks odd now…Im the older one yet you look older.” He chuckled.
