“What’s…pliant mean…?” She stammered. God, she felt so stupid. He was threatening something awful and she didn’t even know what he was talking about. She was stupid she reminded herself – she’d barely passed high school and in all honesty, she was sure her diploma was paid for in some way just to make her look like she was smart enough to actually graduate. Her parents couldn’t have a dumb starlet, after all, no one would want her in their movies if something like that went public.
“It means you are easily bent, easily influenced or directed; yielding. Which is very true as I didnt have to work very hard to get you like this. Perhaps if you read a book instead of acting like a bitch to everyone you would know what words mean.” He told her harshly, amazed at how stupid she really was sometimes.
