[Eyes Like An Inferno]

Axel had come home to the house a mess even though he had told Terran to make sure that it was spotless by the time he got home. When he saw the clothes and other things still on the floor it was like something snapped in the vampire, as he moved though the house and found the teen sitting int he lounge watching tv. HE reached over and grabbed his shoulder before pulling him over the couch and onto the floor. “What did I tell you to do while I was away boy?!”

Terran was practically unconscious while Axel moved and bathed him. Even though his lungs had improved and the bruises started to fade, he was running a fever while his body and Axel’s blood battled it out. His system was weak enough that he teetered on the edge.

Delirium-fueled dreams plagued him, and movement caused the blankets to slide away, which then left him shivering and burrowing back under them in a vicious cycle. He couldn’t get warm.

He could hear how much Terran was moving around in the night and he got up, moving into the teens room and watching him before lightly picking him up and carrying him into the lounge, putting him on the couch before starting the fire for the other, he knew that it would warm him if he laid right in front of it.

Once the fire was blazing and had warmed up the room he gently placed Terran in front of it and placed a pillow under his head as well as a thick blanket over him.
