Piper’s eyes never left him, as alert as she always was, as he moved around the club and put all those boxes exactly where she wanted them without breaking a sweat. “You know, I wish my sisters knew what a gentleman you are…helping a lady out and everything…” She smirks sheepishly. “We should head out soon if you want. I know you have something planned… You won’t tell me…” Her tone was mocking indignant. She was playfully insinuating she’d like to know but then it wouldn’t be the surprise he’d promised.
“Maybe once they knew I was so good to you they would, but…I have yet to meet them.” He laughed as he put the last box down and smiled at her, brushing his shirt off of any dirt that was on it as he walked over to her. “Well no….I said it was a surprise and it will be.” Axel whispered as he kissed her cheek lightly and took her hand. “Might want to put the flowers in some water first…or they will die.” He pointed out as he figured that she didnt want them to die just yet or at all.
