Asche walked up to the door, quiet as a mouse. He hesitated for a moment, taking in a deep breath before he knocked. He barely let his knuckles tap the door, fearing the greeting.
It had been months since he’d left, without a word. He didn’t tell Axel where he was going. Of course, he hadn’t really known his plans before he left. He just left. He walked.
Coming back – coming home to Axel – was terrifying. But he had no where else to go.
And he missed Axel more than anything.
Axel yawned and got out of bed, it was a little early in the morning for him and he had to quickly pull some of the blinds closed as he made his way to the front door. “Yeah, yeah…Im coming. Hold on.” He mumbled as he opened the front door.
He was shocked to see Asche standing there, as he had been sure he would not see the other again since he had left without a word months ago.
