Brent watched the stranger first, then everything else in his house that seemed to have changed quite a lot for the days he was gone. In his mind, he had returned from a long venture, and clearly someone had broken in. He was about to attack this man when a sight made him freeze up.

A portrait- a giant one too, was hung at one wall. It displayed a picture of the both of them looking at one another, embraced and at the bottom was a small message- Happy Anniversay, love Hailey.

Hailey. His sister gave this to them for their… Anniversary? Was he married to this man? What alternative universe- what in hell happened??

Brent held his head, feeling rather dizzy and he noticed the room getting darker and darker until he fainted. The shock was too much to bear.

Axel looked up at Brent when he spoke, a little confused by his words. “I live here.” He told him as he came out of the kitchen, he had been making dinner for both of them as he knew that Brent would be home today and he wanted to surprise him. 

He could tell that something wasnt right with his other half as he moved over to him, slowly at first till he saw him faint. “Hey Brent…Wake up…” He said softly as he picked up the other gently holding him with his head in his lap. 

Axel lightly slapped his cheek and kissed his nose in hopes that it would get him to wake up.
