“As expected. They were always busy with their own tasks. Freya took her duties seriously, Sjofn was someone I rarely got to see myself. And little Lofn- I’m not sure why I didn’t introduce you to her sooner,” Freyr replied on their way to the home, which wouldn’t take long by now. He didn’t think anyone would mind if he brought a friend home. He would help to set up dinner and he hoped Axel could stay for a long time.

His smile faded, head hung, “tragedy had stricken. Do you remember by wife, Gerd? She was growing weak in Alfheim. I had to stay with her and soon the Jotunn, her people barged in, blamed me and stole her away. It was too late, when he returned to her realm, she died of heartbreak. I needed time to heal my heart.”

“WEll maybe now is the right time to introduce me to your family, I have wanted to meet them for awhile. As Freya talked about his own pain through the years Axel hung his head and nodded, it seemed that both of them had been through a lot.

“I am sorry to hear that…Maybe now it is the time for both of us to heal from the pain we have been through, I think you and I found each other again for a reason.” He said gently as he touched Freya’s shoulder lightly.
