It was Axel’s reaction to his act of transforming him that made Brent’s head hang from being ashamed. “I’m- sorry. I haven’t thought of the repurcussions. Somehow the result of all of this outweighed any thought of possible consequences. If you hadn’t awaken, I don’t know-” he felt a tightening sensation in his throat, a panic that arose at the mere thought of losing Axel for good.
The other already experienced losing his lover and having to wait for centuries for his rebirth. Brent can’t even handle the thought of losing Axel even once. “I am really sorry. Please, forgive me. It’s carelessness and I completely own up to it.”
Axel moved over to him and kissed his forehead. “I understand why you did it…And I forgive you. Its just the risks of me not waking up and not being here are a little too high for my liking.” He whispered as he held Brent lightly he could hear the panic in his voice. “Please just come to me next time and ask.” He kissed Brent’s nose and smiled at him. “Though be happy that your experiment did work and I did wake up…although I am human…for the first time in 433 years.”
