Axel had woken up with a start, he had been having a bad dream about things that had happened in his past, things he couldnt stop, things that he couldnt change, but things that haunted him forever. THe vampire only woke when he felt the arms of his boyfriend around him and he heard his voice, Axel slowly opened his eyes and looked at him. “Please tell me im not still dreaming.”
“You’re not, you’re awake and I am here,” he spoke again, now smoothing his hand through the vampire’s hair and pressing his head to his chest. “You’re so unsettled. I get worried when you’re like this. You’re keeping something from me, aren’t you? All I know that somehow, vampires exist in this crazy universe and you just happen to be one. And you’ve shattered a portrait before and now you’re mumbling about me leaving you and- you know I told you this so many times. If you tell me then maybe I can help you somehow?”
He didn’t want to tell him the things that hurt him. He knew being truthful about everything was good for them but there were just things he didn’t want the other to know. “I know you wont leave me…But I live forever…you dont Brent..” HE whispered to him as he lay on his chest, his mind still thinking of him burring him once more and being without him till he found his reincarnation again. Last time he had found a wife in the when he had died and he had even fathered a child, this time round he doubted he would get that. “Please try not to worry Brent….Please..”
