Humans who wandered into vampire territory weren’t protected by the Law, which was dumb. Usually because said humans would do so cluelessly. Good thing that when Zoran walked in here, he knew exactly what he was getting into. It was also a good thing that he knew exactly how to end a vampire.

It was a great thing that someone decided to be nice to him – people were seldom nice to him – and give a warning. Of course, Zoran didn’t intend to take it, but the situation made it easier for him to start asking questions. “So you know why I’m here?” He tapped the holy blade over his jacket. It was hidden, but he was pretty sure the nice vampire got the hint. In a lower voice, Zoran asked him, “You know about the murders?”

“I dont know why you are here but I figure it is to stick your nose where it doesn’t belong, and I think you know that the other vampires will not be as nice as I am right now.” He moved a little closer to Zoran. “Also bring that was not a good idea.” HE growled as he reached for it. 

“Make a scene and you will be dead before you know it.” He warned him. “WE know of the murders, they have been on the news. Only those living under a rock wouldn’t know about them.”
