He did it. Axel actually got the words out and Brent couldn’t react right away. He knew he should have seen it coming, but it actually happening rendered him incapale of logic thought. That was because everything about him was replaced with one emotion- pure unbridled joy that made him almost pounce on Axel.

Axel grinned now and he put the ring on Brent’s finger as he stood up and put his arms around him, his lips softly pressing against his. “You have made me the most happy man on earth.” Axel whispered to him. 

He picked the other up and hugged him tightly before walking up to their bedroom. “The…ring was my fathers.” He told him, it wasnt often the vampire told Brent anything about his family.
