Was this another way to manipulate him into staying, or did Axel actually mean it? Miss him? Why would he miss Brent when he was going to be engaged off to a princess of another vampire kingdom? He was purchased as a temporary fix,and telling himself this was enough to try to assuage himself out of his misdirected feelings.
“Then at least let me walk outside at night. Staying at one place makes me restless.”
He smiled and put his arm around Brent and pulled him close. “Your face looks like you do not believe me…This does not make me happy Brent..” Axel told him, keeping the smile on his face though. “We can walk at night, wherever you want, Okay?” The vampire asked as he kissed the other softly.
