“I ran out of luck long ago.” She lashed forward, her nails piercing his chest. Before he had a chance to say a single word, her nails scratched over his heart. The physical damage would heal, even if the emotional pain never could. She pulled away, satisfied, and walked towards a bowl, then dipped her fingers into the tepid waters. “Your job is done.”
He hissed and went to grab her arm as he felt her nails pierce his skin, though he stayed still as he felt them scratch over his heart, he knew better than to move when someone was that close to it. “Don’t ever do that again..” HE panted as he looked down sighing as the small wounds started to heal. “What do you need with my blood?”
