Regina Shelton’s untimely death was one that the news
referred to as the tragic death of a beautiful and promising recent high school
graduate” as a result of being the crash victim in a drunk driving accident.
Now here she was, sort of, 18 and no longer among the living. For all intents
and purposes, from what she’d gathered, she was a ghost.She spent weeks hanging around her family and friends,
trying to get their attention in her own way, with no luck, before finding a
sort of contentedness with just being around them.As the summer wound to a close and her friends and
classmates began to pack up and leave for college or whatever they’d had
planned, it occurred to Reggie that there was no reason that she shouldn’t
follow the path that she’d set up for herself as best she could. She could
still go to college and she could attend all the classes that she wanted to. It
wouldn’t be the same and she’d miss out on really experiencing college life,
and life, but it would be better than not haunting her hometown and her parents’
house.When freshmen move-in arrived, Reggie found herself on the campus
of the college where she’d planned to spend the next four or so years of her
life.
Axel had died a number of years ago, he had seen the changes of the world through the otherside, watching others enjoy love and other things while he had to just watch. He sighed and moved about the city longing to touch the things around him once more.
As he came to the college campus and tried to get the attention of some of the students that were entering. Axel could all but scream as he was ignored for the millionth time, he ventured into one of the doms and looked around. “Helllo?!” HE called out, hoping to find a ghost of some kid who killed himself or jsut someone so he didnt feel so alone.
