“And that’s what makes you better than them” she quipped, the corner of her mouth gently tugging upwards. That smile only grew when she was surprised by his lips on her cheek. “I’ll see you soon” she replied with a light shrug of her shoulders. Oddly enough, she looked forward to seeing him again. Given her house was just up the street, she turned with a small wave and made the small stroll back to her place.
“See you in the morning.” He said with a wink as he left her there and headed back to his house, he was looking forward to tomorrow and showing her around, it would give him a chance to act like a normal person rather than a drug dealer and one of the men he had saved her from tonight. He sighed and opened the door to his apartment locking it once her stepped inside. Axel moved over to his bed and crawled into it, falling asleep rather quickly to thoughts of the girl he had met.
