She chuckled softly. “Oh, I wouldn’t want that.” Reggie
finished off her wine and gave her student a small smile. “I try not to have
favorites. I always want to be unbiased when I read the work that any student of
mine has turned in and while I grade it.” She shrugged. “I understand that not
all the students want to be in the class, it’s simply filling a requirement for
them. Sometimes they’ve already studied a novel, maybe numerous times. As long
as they’re not outwardly rude or disrespectful, it’s not so bad. And people
have different learning styles. As much as I wish I could, I can’t appeal to
every student in a classroom setting. I’m happy knowing that I reach a few
students.”
“Oh no not at all I would rather not kill you Reggie.” He smiled nodded as he listened to her. “That is the best way to teach, to not choose favourites in your class, though I think if they do not want to be int he class they shouldn’t be..but I understand where you are coming from. So far none of them seem rude or disrespectful towards you. I still think thought that they should take this as a chance to learn, a few hundred years ago they would not have been able to do this, now days they have the world at their fingers tips, a phone that can do everything they want with a few pushes of buttons, yet they take it for granted.” He sighed and ran a hand through his hair. “Sorry.”
