Elena was new to these parts and she had known the second she got herself lost that she had landed herself in a bad neighborhood. She was nervous, especially when a group of perverse men approached her. They wouldn’t let her go past them and Elena was right to be worried. She had simply been trying to get to know her surroundings, but considering her position she was quick to realize that was a mistake.
She nearly jumped out of her skin when an arm unexpectedly went around her, the smell of whiskey and smoke taking over her senses. She wasn’t sure as to who to be more afraid of, but she figured that the possibility of taking on one guy was much better than the probability of taking on a whole group. “Oh no baby, I didn’t forget. Just got a little lost along the way.”
“Better to keep your bitch on a tighter leash, man. ‘Round these parts, a pretty little thing like that isn’t going to last long” the leaded of the group spoke. They didn’t want any trouble, despite the fact they were ready to lead her into an alley, and slowly began backing off.
Axel sneered at the men as they spoke to him, he was tempted to say something back or just attack them but he smiled as they walked and removed his arm from around the girls shoulders. “Sorry about them…” He mumbled with a small smile. “But you shouldnt be out here at this time of night, you neve know what sort of people will come out of the darkness.”
He pulled his smoke packet out of his pocket and put on in his mouth before lighting it and taking a long drag on it. “Do you need a…uh….someone to walk you home?” Axel asked with a shy smile, not sure she would want someone like him walking her home as it did look like she lived in a much nicer neighbourhood than this one. He was curious as to why someone like here was in a place like this as it was not where someone like her was normally seen unless they were driving through rather fast.
