Lost in her fantasies of a certain teacher taking her, she didn’t notice until 30 minutes after school had let out that her ride had not shown. Even then it was the cold and the wet lashings of rain that penetrated the covered waiting area which woke her from her daydreams. Dismayed and cold she resigned herself to walking 3 miles to the nearest bus stop, shivering as the rain dampened her dress and turned it sheer. As she reached the curb, a car stopped in front of her and the passenger side door was opened.
Axel had seen her walking along the road and he knew it was Wren from his class, he pulled over and opened the door for her, smiling as she looked down. “Get it, it is raining cats and dogs out htere and I can have you missing any school cause you are sick from this weather.” He told her as he got out and wrapped his coat around her before getting back into the car.
