His eyes narrowed as he tried to assess the man. Though his actions were indeed peculiar- since he kept looking at him as though he was his target, the apology he received was sincere and his expressions softened. “I guess that happens- a lot of people look alike.” Though he wasn’t sure why, he felt the need to console the other- to make him feel comfortable around him when normally he wouldn’t bat an eye in order to subdue someone to the point that they leave him alone.

Before he can say anything else, the man was on his way out. Brent didn’t buy anything at the groceries after all, so when he left, he happened to be behind the other guy- but he had no idea that was him until he accidentally bumped shoulders. “Oh- sorry. It’s you again,” he chuckled, wondering how he can play this off as nothing he did intentionally, because in truth he didn’t. “You’re okay, right? You looked kind of red there- are you drinking in public?”

Axel had moved off into the shade so that he could wrap his mind around what he had just seen, was it Brent? If it was why did he look the same and why didn’t he remember him, so many questions were racing through his mind as he stood there that he didnt notice the familiar person bump into him this time.

He turned and looked at him his face still al slight shade of red as he looked at the man.  “I…No…NOt drinking….I’m fine…..really…” He was so confused and his chest felt tight, and he was sire this was all in his mind.
