Reggie chuckled and shook her head, “Oh, I will keep that in
mind but I don’t see how you could be a day over thirty, if that old. Unless
you’ve been drinking from the Fountain of Youth or there’s a portrait of you
that you keep hidden away and protected, like Dorian Gray.” She took another
sip of her wine. She wasn’t sure what to make of Axel and the way that he was
talking. The professor blushed, looking down for a moment when her student
winking at her. “Oh, it certainly does! You’re one of the best writers I’ve had
this year.”
“Well it is a fountain of something..” He mumbled before smiling at her. “Are you suggesting that I am Dorian Grey?” He asked as she sipped her wine. “Because I do have a few portraits of myself in my home…But I dont think they are magical.” He told her with another wink as he saw the blush on her cheeks. He was glad that she seemed to be enjoying his company and that she didn’t mind his banter. Of take him to seriously when he talked about things he knew from experiencing them first hand. “Thank you, But I bet there are better ones in the class I cant be the best.”
